Deborah’s Family Care wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about our program and reach us easily.

01Our goal

We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with a wide range of disabilities.

02What we’ve done

Measures built into this website include:

  • semantic page structure with headings, landmarks, and a “Skip to content” link;
  • full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators, including the mobile menu;
  • text and color combinations chosen for readable contrast;
  • text alternatives for meaningful images, with decorative graphics hidden from screen readers;
  • labeled form fields with clear error messages on the referral inquiry form;
  • responsive layouts that work on phones, tablets, and desktops and support zooming; and
  • reduced animation for visitors whose devices are set to “reduce motion.”

03Known limitations

The referral inquiry form works by opening your device’s email app. If you don’t use an email app, or if this doesn’t work well with your assistive technology, please call us at 480-876-6130 or email deborahsfamilycare@gmail.com directly.

Accessibility is ongoing work. Despite our efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible.
